Russell Wilson and Ciara "Not Concerned" With Future's Recent Comments, Remain Focused on Each Other
When two stars begin a hot new romance, people are going
But when it comes to Russell Wilson and Ciara's
relationship, there's one man who appears to be speaking
out a little more than others. Yes, we're talking about
Just last week, Ciara's ex-boyfriend and the father to their
child Future Zahir Wilburn had some strong words to say
about Wilson's involvement with his son's life. But as it
turns out, the "I Bet" singer isn't too concerned with what
her ex has to say.
"Ciara was more annoyed with Future's comments than sad
or upset," a source revealed to E! News exclusively. "She is
really strong now and so happy. She thinks Future needs to
live his life and leave her happy relationship out of it."
And when it comes to her man, Wilson "is not concerned
with Future's behavior."
When Future was asked about photos showing Wilson
pushing his son around in a stroller, the rapper voiced his
disapproval. "You don't even bring a man around your son,"
he shared on The Breakfast Club. "You know this dude for a
few months and you're bringing him around your kid? Who
does that? Nobody does that."
But according to our insider, the introduction between
Wilson and Future Jr. was something that happened
naturally without any ill intentions.
"Russell loves kids and it was important to Ciara for Russell
to meet Baby Future," our source explained. "Russell is not
trying to replace Future as a dad. He is just being a good
guy to both Ciara and Baby Future."
"Ciara introduced baby Future to Russell in a very organic
way and never forced anything involving her child."
Despite the headlines and scrutiny, there doesn't appear to
be any signs of trouble brewing between Ciara and Wilson.
In fact, their recent appearances together at the ESPY
Awards and Kids' Choice Sports Awards may just show
how strong their bond is.
"Russell is all about Ciara and they've been getting pretty
close," our source shared. "It's about them and that's all
they are focusing on."
